Getting to Know Miss Bergman

Ever since the first grade I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I truly believe that my passion for education stems from the wonderful teachers I had the pleasure of learning from throughout my own schooling. I grew up in Troy, Ohio, and I attended Miami East Local Schools. I have a loud and crazy family that I love so much, and I am one of five siblings! In high school, I was a member of the girls golf team. I also spent my time attending as many sporting events as possible to support my fellow Viking athletes. My favorite subjects in high school were social studies and language arts, which greatly influenced the path I took in college. While at the University of Cincinnati, I had the opportunity to work with teachers and students all across the city. Some of the greatest lessons I have learned were in my time studying at UC. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family. I also love playing with my dog, swimming, traveling, watching sports, and playing golf!
